The individuals in this data set are those of my Grandmother Hansen's family. She was a Depew although it appears that she was the first to consistantly use that spelling. Her father's family appears to have used Depue for the most part. Other spellings include Depuy, Depui, Du Puy, and others. For those interested in the genealogy of the Depuy family descended from Nicholas Du Puy, I recommend the DePuy Family History, Nicholas and Francois from France, by Ruth P. Heidgerd and Jean M. Smith, published by the Brodhead Family Association.

If you haven't checked recently, I have finally found the family of my great-great-grandmother Carrie Lavina (Trotter) Brown. Thanks to my cousin Emmalo and others, I have extended her family back several generations.

This is a public version of the database, which means that any individual who might still be living is not included. Family members and others wishing access to the private version of this branch should contact me for an account name and password.

The photos in this data set need to be resized but that is something that is somewhat lower priority than fixing the source and citation listings. Please bear with me on this.
