James Charles Hansen was the first of his family to be born in the USA, in Kenosha, Wisconsin in 1907. His parents and older brother and sisters were all born in Dronninglund Sogn (parish) in northern Denmark. Thanks to the excellent Danish National Archives I have been able to extend his branch of the family to the early 1700s. I also would like to thank several very helpful Danish genealogists, especially Grethe Mortensen.

This is a public version of the database, which means that any individual who might still be living is not included. Family members and others wishing access to the private version of this branch should contact me for an account name and password.

The photos in this data set need to be resized but that is something that is somewhat lower priority than fixing the source and citation listings. Please bear with me on this.
